About The Thomas House
Built in 1829, the house is furnished as a pioneer home of the 1830-1840s with many original Thomas family items on display. The Oakville Historical Society operates the house, and volunteers act as guides. A brochure covering the history of the family and house is available for visitors. Open Victoria Day to the end of September, admission is free.
