About Queen's Own Rifles of Canada Regimental Museum (The)
The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, formed in 1860, is Canada's oldest continuously serving infantry regiment. The Regimental Museum and Archive was established in 1956 in Calgary and moved to Casa Loma in Toronto in 1970. It occupies a major part of the third floor of Casa Loma, which was built by former Commanding Officer Sir Henry Pellatt. The collection includes records, photographs, and artefacts of the Regiment's history.
