About Montgomery's Inn
Built in the 1830s to shelter travellers, Montgomery's Inn brought people together from the surrounding area and beyond over food, drink, games, and more. This museum gives visitors the opportunity to see how a 19th-century Canadian inn was run from ballroom to bedrooms. Weekly farmers' markets bring neighbours together over freshly-baked bread from the wood-burning oven and seasonal fruits and vegetables, while hearth cooking demonstrations and community art exhibits offer a wider range of experiences.
